01. Dating Do's and Don'ts

This article and the tips that come from it, are based on my personal experience on dating.
In more than one occasion when dating, we come to a point where important decisions are to
be made and wondered whether or not you should or should not do or
say something. In general, there are several customary dating'rules' that everybody should
follow, in order to make life easier when going out for a date.
First of all, there are several things everyone should do on dates. One of the most
important for example, is making the plain first impression. Dress and try to look your
best and above all try to get to the appointment on time. First impressions really count and
no one wants to date an unreliable slob. Try to flatter and compliment your date by saying
how good they look and compliment them by the choice of clothes they are wearing.
Men and women want to make a good impression of themselves and so they spend a lot of
time preparing for the event, and being told that they look nice is always good to hear.
Make dating fun. Be stimulated and engaging. But above all, it is courteous to tell someone
if you are not interested in dating them again. It is absolutely disrespectful to lie
to someone and keep their hopes kept alive thus hurting their feelings. Let
them understand that you don't want to continue dating or seeing them again in the nicest
reasonable way you can. One suggestion to avoid disappointments is to try and date the
kind of individuals you like and are attracted to, regardless also of your friend's and
family member's opinion. A good thing is to have a positive attitude even when dates don't
have a nice ending. Surely you may find some bad individuals along the road, but you will
also encounter some nice people and possibly make lots of good contacts. The secret is you
must keep dating as original diversion as possible, it requires concentration and vitality
so use your imagination when you are dating and hang on to some plans in the forefront of
your mind; Dating could take you to places you always desired to visit within your own area.
Organize your dating; don't expect that people will come and ring at your bell
from nowhere. You need to go out there and encounter people, as many individuals as you can.
Test your chatting and flirting skills on people of all kinds from store workers to bar
attendants, anywhere and everywhere. Being nice to people is very exciting and great fun.
In conclusion, try to meet up with friends or positive like minded people who are also
dating. Imagine the girls from the television series Sex and the City and how they help
each other in dating and matters of romance. On the contrary, negative people who don't
approve of the dating scene or don't comprehend it will only help diminish your own
expectations and as a consequence make you feel negative and depressed.
